Mother Loes [Loes Luca] and her Marjolein [Jelke van Houten] and Gijsje [Eva van de Wijdeven] are once again grappling with 'women's issues'. Marjolein thinks Huib's [Leo Alkemade] attempts to seduce her into marriage are merely a formality, Gijsje faces workplace sexism when the company of which she is CEO turns out to be nominated for a prestigious award, and Loes becomes infatuated with the seemingly charming Bernd [Leopold Witte], whose behavior is poorly received by her friends and family. A fairly predictable romantic comedy in which the male characters remain quite superficial, but the three lead actresses do just enough to keep things afloat. The blueprint for a women's film, so female viewers might give this an extra star.

Fun sequel. The jokes and one-liners are often quite well put together.
Of course, the acting is a bit overdone here and there, but then again, that’s the case in American comedy films too. We are quick to label it a bad Dutch film, but I think that’s because it is Dutch. That comes across much more directly to us than a foreign film.
Next, switch off your brain and just relax!
