Solid debut indeed from Eva Cools. Serene drama of a teenager who loses her parents after a car accident. She finds solace in her music and meets a young guest at a party. Despite the great love and care of the grandmother, it is not easy to live together. The generation gap is sometimes very large, but out of respect and love there are no disputes.
Nice little tender film with classical music as an extra touch. The ending was hard, was also coming, maybe a bit clichéd, but certainly not bad overall.

What do you call it when the scenes don't flow naturally, when the transitions are too abrupt, when the woodenness grinds in staccato, when the viscosity kills credibility? The Dutch disease? No, this Belgian product was not chocolate and certainly not a breathtaking nightmare. More like a deflated test balloon, in which even Rachmaninov couldn't breathe anymore. Shame.
PS In the end it is striking that Cleo does not mention Leos as the perpetrator of the accident during the reconstruction. She's protecting him? Out of love? Stockholm Syndrome?
