The excellent chemistry between leading actress Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne makes up for a lot in this not too original comedy about two friends whose friendship comes under pressure when the famous Claire Luna shows interest in the brand name associated with the cosmetics store they run together. built up. Byrne and Haddish know how to handle the sometimes flat, but always entertaining dialogue and regularly provide funny moments. But this would undoubtedly have been more fun (and better) if the roles of the hilarious Jennifer Coolidge and the multi-talented Billy Porter had been better developed. Because of the positive message about women and appearance, this film probably appeals to women more than men, but don't expect any depth.

I watched this with low expectations and it was better than expected. The story is not that original, but the pace was good due to the short playing time. Still got a few laughs and the cast was also on a roll. Nice to have seen it once.

Very, very mediocre comedy. A women's comedy, if you like, but very flat and infantile. Tifany Haddish doesn't do much for me and Rose Byrne, which features quite a good actress, doesn't do anything either. Not that it could have been otherwise, the film lacks intelligence and maturity.
