At his 'early retirement' party, Felix Greystone gets a pre-release version of an 'Auggie', smart glasses that project a perfect human companion. When Felix's wife Anne is promoted and his daughter Grace begins a serious relationship with her boyfriend, Felix suddenly feels very alone. He opens up to his new virtual companion, Auggie, and finds recognition and appreciation in her.
