In my Alexandra Daddario double bill (Lost Girls and Love Hotels) I ended up with the second film with this extremely sweet film. This is a very standard romcom that in no way deserves the originality prize and the dilemmas feel a bit too scripted. This is mainly because many characters do not look "real". They are too many movie characters. Now this happens more often, but in this film it causes the credibility to crumble enormously. Too bad, because I think the characters radiate a nice energy and the chemistry between Daddario and Hoechlin was certainly palpable.

2.5*

My love had fallen asleep on my lap while this little thing was standing up and the bowl was out of reach.

This hour and a half long sequence of moving images is about absolutely nothing, is not interesting or funny at all and, as far as I'm concerned, has no right to exist.

Am I being a bit harsh here? Maybe. But there are also romcoms that still make an effort to squeeze out some sort of decent story without just having cardboard characters show up.

Oh well, it's just a romcom. No one really cares how good or mediocre it is.

In a panic over a somewhat unsettled flight, Emma [Alexandra Daddario] spills all her secrets to the strange, hunky man [Tyler Hoechlin] sitting next to her. It turns out to be her new boss. Terrible romantic comedy with a clueless, insufferable brat as a main character and a parade of awful stereotypes (a loser boyfriend and two eccentric roommates). The script is terrible and Durán sees to it that Daddario and the rest of the cast deliver performances to match.
