Actor Alain Delon has always fascinated his audience. Delon had a difficult childhood with an absent father, and he struggled with authority for the rest of his life. Director Philippe Kohly made a portrait of the actor and concluded that the real 'Delon' does not actually exist. 'Alain Delon' seems more like a fictional character invented by an orphaned boy in search of fame.
