The Battle for Marjah plot

In February 2010, US Marines were deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Moshtarak, the largest operation since the beginning of the war in Afghanistan. The main target is the Taliban stronghold of Marjah, a town in Helmand Province. Journalist Ben Anderson, who spent two months with the US armed forces, offers an intimate look at the brutal realities of contemporary warfare.
