Dora has spent most of her life exploring the wilderness with her parents. However, her most challenging adventure awaits her: high school. I am not at all familiar with the cartoon, although I know a few things about it, such as the names Dora and Diëgo and that it is intended to be learned by small children. But that's where it ends. That doesn't matter though, because this movie is clear enough.
It turned out to be an entertaining film, a kind of Indiana Jones for children that was also quite enjoyable for me, especially because of the excellent role of Moner, who completely credibly portrays an overly happy teenager with an energy that almost feels natural. The whole quest is not exciting and the characters survive all the events quite easily, but that is not the case with the film. Characters are nice enough (not always well acted, but okay) and the film doesn't last longer than necessary and there is also nice music by The Cure. 3.0*.

Quite entertaining, of course very predictable and nothing new under the sun, but at the same time certainly not annoying. Isabela Moner is a very nice leading actress who brings a lot of enthusiasm to her character, the "nerd" in this story was very stereotypical, but maybe you shouldn't punish a film like this too hard for that? ?
Entertaining enough.

This was recently on TV and watched without expectations. The film was actually still nicely made. Nods to the animated film and doesn't take it all that seriously. Swieber and Boots are also present and the rest of the cast also did well. It was the dubbed version so that was a bit less, but good.
It's all predictable, but the target group didn't care about that.
It was a nice adventure film.
