Nice film about two sisters who help each other after one of them has committed a crime. A fine plot that manages to surprise here and there, especially because of the mainly female characters. However, the film perhaps tries a little too much in the relatively short playing time. The atmosphere of the fishing village is well portrayed and the cast also does well. Just under 3.5 stars.

The death of their mother offers Beth and Priscilla the opportunity to leave the close-knit but sometimes suffocating fishing community in a small town in Maine. But before that happens, one of them becomes involved in the death of an unknown, dangerous man. The sisters decide to cover up every trace, but in a town where everyone knows each other and gossip is the order of the day, it is not easy to keep up appearances. Cole and Krudy quickly set the mood with the help of a group of singing fishermen (the title refers to a well-known sea shanty) and make optimal use of the bleak locations in this generally well-acted drama.
