Not all that bad, a story that doesn't veer off course and keeps a pleasant but leisurely pace. The beautiful and atmospheric images from Spain and Loes Luca who seems to feel very much at home and plays her character in a subdued and human way, create a nice whole.

Mi Vida is not that special, but certainly not annoying either.

3*

Good film about a hairdresser who travels to Spain and registers for Spanish lessons. A beautiful, intimate portrait of an elderly woman who is trying to give a new meaning to her life. You slowly get to know the main character better and Loes Luca gives this a nice interpretation. The dialogues where Dutch, Spanish and English intermingle appear natural.
