Callas, Kennedy, Onassis: Deux Reines pour un Roi plot
Maria Callas, Jackie Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis. They are undoubtedly three of the most emblematic figures of the 20th century. The lives of the New York soprano, the former American first lady and the Greek shipping magnate were inextricably linked in the 1950s and 60s. In the 1950s, Onassis began a much-discussed affair with Callas, a relationship that would last for years until the Greek shipowner tied the knot in 1968 with Jackie Bouvier, the widow of the 1963 assassinated President John F. Kennedy. The marriage of the media icons would last until Onassis' death in 1975.
