Furniture maker Ellen returns to her parental home after learning that her father Stellan and his boat shop are in bad shape. There she meets her ex Lennard. Ellen's father is not happy with her arrival and blames her for her mother's death. To make matters worse, it turns out that Lennard is engaged to her sister.
