In 1974, in a small community in Idaho, a naive religious family falls prey to the manipulative charms of a neighbor. He kidnaps their twelve-year-old daughter. When the girl returns five weeks later, she assures her parents and the court that "nothing happened". As a result, the pedophile is released and is able to abuse the child sexually, emotionally and psychologically for years to come.

A realistic documentary about a true story in the 1970s. At first you think it's all fake, but reality soon hits. You are left with many questions. On the other hand, it is important to place this documentary in the right spirit of the times.

In 1972, the Broberg family became friends with their new neighbors, Bob and Mary Ann Broberg. The minor Jan and her sisters were particularly attached to B., who was primarily interested in Jan. Jan, her parents, and her sisters show great courage by candidly revealing how B. cunningly played them off against each other and managed to keep his pedophilic relationship with Jan a secret.
