"Home is a mystery."
While in Washington DC for Christmas vacation, Margaret Rockland sees some of her oldest friends have settled in. In a form of semi-juvenile rebellion, she begins to drink. From one moment to the next she seems to experience the kidnapping of a young adult. Instead of dealing with the banality of her own life, she decides to make her way through the city.
