Madame B., Histoire d'une Nord-Coréenne plot
Mrs. B., a North Korean woman, was forcibly sold by her smugglers to a Chinese farmer. In order to earn a living and to support her own family who stayed behind in North Korea, Mrs. B. resorts to drug trafficking. She manages to smuggle her husband and sons into South Korea and then leaves herself with a group of illegal migrants to finally be reunited with her children. After a long and dangerous journey, Mrs. B. is detained by the Intelligence Service as soon as she crosses the border into South Korea. Her life takes a completely unexpected turn, unlike the life she dreamed of.
