The Gathering, Part II plot

Two years after the disintegrated family of the terminally ill Adam Thornton reunited, his widow and children face another challenge in their relationship. Adam's widow Kate Thornton has returned to romance for the first time since Adam's death. She is courted by Victor Wainwright, who is also interested in the family business. The children distrust him, which reminds them of the difficulties they had with their father. Can the family in the idyllic New England town put aside their differences over the holidays?
