Interesting dialogue, a bit like "Friends" with serious life issues that the characters often don't take too seriously. The Irish music between scenes was also nice. The camerawork wasn't always great, and after an hour it was a bit too repetitive. Still, a decent debut that makes me curious about his other films.

My first Edward Burns, and it definitely left me wanting more. You can clearly see that Burns drew inspiration from Woody Allen, but he managed to give it a very nice, personal twist.

I found the ending a bit forced and didn't quite fit with the rest of the film, but considering this was Burns' first film, he certainly didn't do a bad job

I'll never forget the scene with the banana, I thought it was absolutely brilliant

3.5 stars.

An excellent film about three Catholic, Irish-American brothers forced to live together again. A charming debut from Edward Burns, clearly made on a shoestring. Good dialogue and a fresh cast make this delightful blend of comedy and drama about relationships. A close 4.0 stars.
