In a post-apocalyptic world, humanity is nearly extinct. A deadly plague and a new ice age - created by mankind to stop the plague - are responsible for this. Vargas is a man who leads a group of survivors. Together with them, Vargas makes an attempt to reach the safe area "Shangri-La". During the journey, the group has to deal with several forms of threat.
