Stephanie Petersen is a mother of two and works as a writer. She is in a difficult period because she is estranged from her husband and does not have the motivation to write a new book. The situation changes when Stephanie runs into the attractive young man Brady. The two have an affair, but after a while Stephanie puts an end to it. She wants to fight for their marriage with her husband. However, Brady won't let himself be dumped and makes life miserable for Stephanie.
