Ava is an excellent assassin who carries out covert operations for the government. She travels around the world and her expertise consists of taking out, mainly, prominent names. Slick action film with an imposing cast and a superficial, wafer-thin story, which has been shown countless times before – and better!–. I can't help feeling that director Tate Taylor cs have been guided by similar Korean action films. Mediocre.

Jessica Chastain manages to keep the film interesting enough with her convincing role and is just a pleasant actress to watch. The film itself is a dime a dozen story about a sexy hit man with a lot of expertise who at some point has to fear for her life by her own employers. Nothing new, but the film knows how to entertain enough. It's a shame about the mediocre effect towards the end when the main responsible himself takes the reins. The ultimate battle seems too simple. 6/10

A film starring Chastain, Malkovich and Farrel has no right to be completely mediocre. Visually it looks even cheaper than the average Netflix movie and the script is lazy dime a dozen of the thinnest kind.
