Human Harvest plot
In the early 2000s, doctors from all over the world noticed that a large number of their patients flew to China for organ transplants. Organs were quickly available there in large numbers, but horrific stories were circulating. It was rumored that hospitals were using living inmates to quickly obtain organs. This documentary follows the international investigation into this alleged "organ harvesting" led by Nobel Peace Prize nominees David Matas and David Kilgour.
