Carrie, a young religious fundamentalist, is abandoned by her father and forced to move in with her mother. Her mother has come out, married a woman and had a child: Tia. When Carrie's new parents go on a trip, she is the one to babysit Tia. However, all sorts of horrific events take place that terrify Carrie.
