The Oath plot

"Nothing is more American than family drama"

A progressive news junkie and his wife, Chris and Kai, learn that citizens are being asked to sign a pledge or oath form expressing loyalty to the president. Given their idealistic ideas, they refuse to sign the form. With a Thanksgiving Day deadline approaching, the presence of sparring relatives and the unexpected visit of two government agents, the National Day seems to be completely derailed.
