A Night of Horror Volume 1 plot

"Ten Filmmakers. One Night of Horror."

Zombies, demonic entities, "self-surgery", cannibalism and many more atrocities make their appearance in this horror omnibus. The wraparound segment "Life Imitates" that holds all the others together tells the story of a woman who wakes up in an eerie, abandoned art gallery filled with objects related to each of the short stories. In one of the episodes, 'Hum', a woman is plagued by a buzzing noise that she can't find or stop. Despite her best efforts and those of the building's maintenance person, the noise continues to drive her to the brink of madness and beyond. In 'Point of View', a clerk in a morgue is threatened by a corpse that only moves when she's not looking. 'I Am Undone' is about a nurse who injects herself with body-enhancing drugs and gets into trouble when her own body begins to reject all the changes she's made.
