Bobby Kennedy, Le Rêve Brisé de l'Amérique plot
On November 22, 1963, US President John F. Kennedy is shot dead in Dallas. His younger brother Robert, nicknamed Bobby, is one of JFK's most confidential advisers at the time. In 1964 he ran for election as a senator for the state of New York. After his victory, he begins to emerge as a true icon of modern American liberalism. For example, he is openly opposed to racial discrimination, the war in Vietnam and he is a staunch advocate of equal human rights. Thanks to his growing fame, in 1968 he became one of the leading candidates to win the Democratic nomination for the presidential election. However, it did not come to that: on June 5 he was shot dead in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles by Sirhan Sirhan, a 24-year-old Palestinian.
