Abdel et la Comtesse plot
When the Count dies, the Countess of Montarbie d'Haust must transfer the title of nobility and the domain to a man of the family, in accordance with the tradition of the aristocracy. She doesn't want to hand over the domain to Gonzague, an arrogant and greedy cousin, instead of her daughter. But then Abdel, a resourceful and clever young man, seeks refuge in the castle. The two come from completely different worlds but can apparently help each other.
