One fine day, a mysterious visitor, Cornélius Bloom, arrives in a godforsaken village and immediately starts building a mill. In the beginning, the man is well received by the inhabitants. However, the new miller has a bizarre habit: every night he screams at the moon and prevents villagers from sleeping. The latter then have only one idea in mind: to start hunting him. But Cornélius, supported by the beautiful Carmen, is ready to do anything to defend his freedom and their budding love.
