I Love My Muslim plot

"A love story pushing the boundaries of age and religion"

Carla is a 62-year-old from Amsterdam who has converted to Islam and is married to Fouad, who is almost thirty years younger. He is a former Libyan fighter living in the Netherlands. The film shows their everyday life in the Netherlands, but also paints a personal picture of the unrest in the Middle East and the reaction to it within Dutch society.
