Before joining Mystery Inc., Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley were best friends solving mysteries. Velma attends Ridge Valley High, an innovative school full of high-tech gadgets and state-of-the-art robots, funded by tech billionaire Tobias Bloom. Daphne is a new transfer student and is excited to go to school with her online friend Velma. While everyone tries to secure a highly sought-after internship at Bloom Innovative, Daphne and Velma stumble upon a mystery. Several students disappear and later reappear in a listless, zombie-like state.
