Very mediocre indeed. The main character is a very exaggerated male chauvinistic pig and ends up 'as punishment' in a world where women are in charge, where he has to deal with his female chauvinistic boss, and where he is quickly seen as a 'masculinist'.
It's all well thought out, but it never really gets sharp. Funny is the card game where women are higher than men, and the 'Brazilian wax' of the man's chest hair, but we had the most fun with that. It is already a sign on the wall that despite the title, the main character is never slut-shamed in this film.
What ultimately keeps me from giving it the lowest score is the ending where instead of the main character being allowed to return to his world after learning his moralistic lesson, his female chauvinistic boss is actually moved to his world. I didn't see this coming and found it a pleasant surprise. 1*.

Mwoh. The whole film is based on the gimmick, and people think that it is automatically funny. There are some nice things in it (that bikini line on the male chest, the titles of the books) but it never really gets sharp. The story itself is also not really captivating and is often completely interchangeable. The ending is very strong, but the rest of the film is very tame. The atmosphere is okay and it is still watchable, but that is it. 2.5*.
