Les Disparus de Valenciennes plot
18 years ago, Michael and Yann Tortois' father, along with some fellow miners, died in a tragic mining accident. Agent Michael has always believed that it was an unavoidable firedamp explosion, Gendarme Yann has always believed that the accident was facilitated by the mine operator. This difference of opinion has driven the two brothers apart over the years. Still, they'll have to put their differences aside when they're both tasked with investigating a murder that happened at the scene of the fateful accident.
