Given the low score on IMDb, I didn't have very high expectations for this film beforehand. In hindsight, it exceeded my expectations. Despite a certain tenacity, I find it an entertaining film about a foul-mouthed stand-up comedian who has a love-hate relationship with men stemming from her traumatic childhood.
The scene with the dramatic revelation somewhere halfway through the film hits quite hard, and especially the way it is delivered.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead delivers an impressive acting performance. I can't recall having seen many of her films. I probably should make up for that oversight, because this one will likely stick with me for a while.

Fantastic acting performance by Winstead. All About Nina is a fairly standard film, and not all characters and actors are equally strong, but Winstead ensures that it remains engaging to watch. Even when she is just talking to herself in the mirror. The story about a self-destructive comedian struggling with childhood trauma is fairly predictable, and you are essentially waiting for the inevitable meltdown and the moment of reflection. In a fantastic scene, all the anger and sadness finally come out, and Winstead manages to play it perfectly.

Good film about a stand-up comedian who moves due to relationship problems. The main character is well-developed, especially thanks to a fine performance by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The film seems to lack a bit of direction, but everything falls into place during an excellent monologue scene towards the end. Easily 3.5 stars.
