The Birdcatcher plot

Norway in the year 1942. Fourteen-year-old Jewish Esther is taken away from her family. She is forced to take on a new identity and tries to survive in the country occupied by the Nazis. Her plan to travel to Sweden proves difficult, so Esther hides in a barn with the help of one Aksel and pretends to be a male farmer.
