"A girl-on-girl relationship is something men would never understand"
When Pim's friend goes to study in Japan against her will, she breaks all ties with him. Around the same time, Pim gets to know the photographer Pat. Their friendship gradually develops into love. Since same-sex marriages are not possible in Thailand, the love between Pim and Pat eventually leads to a partnership for life, through a ceremony that resembles a wedding ceremony in every way. But not everyone is equally happy.
