"With every road trip comes baggage"
The single mother Laura has a constant need to put everything and everyone, including animals, first, and then herself. When her father Jack, with whom the bond has been lost for a while, is thrown out of the retirement home, she agrees to take him to her sister JoJo in Los Angeles. The two are joined by her son Henry. Jack hides another secret that jeopardizes his relationship with his daughter.
