Vua Bai Rac plot
"LONG LIVE THE KING!"
Trong manages a garbage dump, where people can search for items that still have some value among the waste for a fee. Thuy sells banana flowers along the street so she can buy medicine for her sick mother. When that does not yield enough money, her stepfather wants to force Thuy into prostitution. She sells her virginity to Trong for a lot of money, who persuades her to come and live with him. The exploitation by Trong of the people, who try to earn a meager income day in and day out on the garbage dump, Thuy is increasingly opposed to it. She's going to sell flowers again. One day she meets a young painter.
