"Revenge is worth dying for"
Hollow Body is a rock band led by Jimmy Kleen, who strikes a deal with Rick Roland of a shady record company. Things take a dark turn when the band's lead singer, Rachel Swann, and her controlling stage mother are struck by lightning. Rachel comes back to life, now possessed by her dead mother's ghost and with strange electrical abilities that she cannot control.

Absurdist film that refuses to put itself in a corner. Director Alex Keledjian chooses multiple genres and principles, making Hollow Body mainly a mixture. Allie Gonino plays the most striking figure, who can easily adapt to her personal transformation from shy band member to supernatural diva. Ryan Donowho and David Arquette also do a nice job, but play somewhat too colorless characters. However, this is due to the script, which cannot strongly balance the eccentric features of the content and the figures. Ultimately, Keledjian mainly misses the mark with the visual power. The computer effects in particular are wooden and the atmosphere is not absorbing enough, but fortunately things remain unpredictable and the characters entertain with ease. In my opinion, Hollow Body is much better than the average score suggests.
