Silent Mist plot

In the dark of the night, mysterious incidents take place in a peaceful river village in southern China. A rapist hides in the shadows, looking for a victim. Schoolgirl Li is his first victim. Meanwhile, a young couple tries to earn a living from a small restaurant. And while the rapist goes about his business hidden by the fog, a rich and powerful businessman opens up to scatter fear and insecurity. The villagers find it difficult to deal with the overt and hidden dangers they face thanks to their morally damaged compatriots.
