Idiot of the purest kind, but director Scott Schirmer has miraculously managed to build a small fan base. You can conclude this early on, especially because in the first few minutes a word of thanks is used for the financial compensation. "Well done everyone, we now have a completely retarded film," I thought afterwards. Plank Face nevertheless has a nice first fifteen minutes with a number of gloomy images and a commendable pace, but Schirmer quickly picks up the pace to reveal the ridiculous basic fact. The content seems to be exclusively a forbidden and perverse sex fantasy, because as a psychological behavioral study the film is really too crude for words. An innumerable amount of meaningless sex scenes pass by, of which I honestly don't know whether the intention is supposed to be exciting, but I found it repulsive. After a while the progression touches on so many ridiculous things that I could only be annoyed by the over-the-top horror images. I have rarely seen so much nonsense stuck together, but Schirmer does reach an audience with it.
