In the final part of the series, Kyôshirô Nemuri faces someone who pretends to be... Kyôshirô Nemuri! This doppelganger rapes and kills people, leaving a note with his fake name. The real Kyôshirô Nemuri has to wriggle his way through high rankings in the shogunate, exiled Christians and politicians to clear his name.
