Laura is a promising young auctioneer who sees her life collapse when she is raped. Her attacker is a well-known and respected gallery owner. Laura realizes that no one will believe her when she makes a complaint. But that same night, the gallery owner's wife is murdered. Her husband immediately becomes prime suspect number one, but he has an alibi: at the time of the murder, the rape took place. When the police interrogate Laura to confirm the man's alibi, she jumps at her chance to get revenge.

Couldn't sleep, so gave up. Kept me awake wondering how it would end. The end was not obvious. Good story (more meaty than in the film Elle), but a more skilled director could have gotten more out of it. Big 3*.

Because her recommender chooses an alibi and admits to the rape in order to receive a milder punishment, Laura considers herself lucky, but that happiness quickly makes way for psychological problems that drown out everything.
It is this issue that the filmmaker wants to highlight in the first place. A wound has been made that is difficult to live with.
Interesting theme, that's for sure, but this film still doesn't get too high a score.
The acting is rather mediocre and moreover, for most of the film, people seem to forget that a perpetrator of a murder has to be found. And that comes to fruition in the final minutes of the film. A weak ending leaves some disappointment.
