'Nico, 1988' is a road movie dedicated to the last years of Christa Päffgen, also known as "Nico". She was one of Warhol's muses, singer of the Velvet Underground and a woman of legendary beauty. Nico led a second life after the story that was known to everyone. Her music is some of the most original of the 1970s and 1980s, and has had a significant impact on the musical production that followed. Called "Priestess of Darkness," she found her true calling after she turned 40, when she shed the weight of her beauty and rebuilt her relationship with her forgotten son. 'Nico, 1988' is the story of Nico's last tour with the band, which toured Europe in the eighties. It is the story of a rebirth, an artist, a mother and an iconic woman.
