Maze plot
In 1983 there was a massive outbreak of 38 IRA prisoners from the Northern Ireland maximum security prison HMP Maze. While the mastermind behind the escape, Larry Marley, plots his plan, he comes into contact with prison guard Gordon Close. Initially, the two are great enemies, until Larry realizes Gordon could be useful to his escape plan and decides to manipulate him. An unlikely relationship ensues between the two, which will have far-reaching consequences for both parties.
