A documentary about the wanderings of a Swedish sailing ship that embarks on a journey to the Mediterranean in the 1960s. The mission leads to the dream destinations of the ancient world: from the Côte d'Azur, past the Greek islands, to the pyramids of Egypt. Shot in 1962 with specially designed 70mm cameras, this is the first German film to be produced in this format, on a large screen with high resolution.
