Max Max in the dunes, but on foot and usually in poor English. At the center is a bespectacled variant of Pippi Longstocking named Molly [Julia Batelaan], who is the target of Deacon's [Joost Bolt] gang, who use so-called "Supplicants" for lucrative combat in what is supposed to be a post-apocalyptic world. Molly is a legend for her special powers, which explains why she is so hard to catch. She takes care of Bailey [Emma de Paauw], a girl in dinosaur pajamas. Amateurish in every way, with Bolt the clear winner in the worst acting category. The first half is occasionally soporific, the second half contains an action scene in which Batelaan and Annelies Appelhof (as a low budget cyborg) attack each other in one long, uninterrupted shot. Too bad they had to sweat so much for such a less than mediocre result.
