Very nice film, but it is certainly not without flaws.

What has been said before here, I can agree with. The film is certainly well made. It looks neat and shows some great action scenes. (especially in the finale which makes watching it worth it anyway)

The camera is also very agile in the best sense of the word. It makes sure that you are fluently thrown from scene to scene without really realizing it or it goes along with the action without losing the action out of frame.

The story was also good, but in terms of pace and narrative structure it was quite chaotic. It sometimes went a bit too fast, which meant that some things, such as the relationship between the secret agents, were not worked out enough. In addition, the flashbacks were indeed somewhat confusing.

Mediocre action film. The story is not very special and is worked out rather messily by Jung. By using many flashbacks it is difficult to follow the story. By using various camera techniques the many action scenes are just as chaotic as the story. A single scene is worth it. Furthermore the film looks good visually. Total chaos. 2.0/2.5

Solid South Korean action film.

That opening scene alone will get your heart rate up. Without giving too much away, you play a big part in it. It's really cool. The same can definitely be said about the rest of the action scenes. Exactly the reason why Asian action films are so popular. Very good choreography, stunts, camera work and editing. Fortunately, it doesn't care about the Western way of creating an action scene by hiding everything in the editing. The drama works less well. It's just too much and the acting is very over-the-top. Fortunately, these scenes are short so that we are quickly treated to another very nice action scene.
