Strong Island plot
On April 7, 1992, on Long Island, New York, 24-year-old black schoolteacher William Ford, Jr. is murdered by Mark Reilly, a white 19-year-old mechanic. Although Ford is unarmed, he is considered the prime suspect, even though he himself was murdered. In this documentary, Yance Ford investigates his brother's racism-motivated murder, the killer's acquittal, and his family's response to it.
