Naked plot
Rob Anderson is a smiley boy who is all set to marry the girl of his dreams. But instead of spending the night before preparing for the wedding or rehearsing the first dance, he goes out with his best man. The next morning he ends up naked in an elevator with no clothes on and no idea how he got there. He turns out to be in a time loop that might make him a better person. But first he has to deal with the group of people outside the elevator.

Naked
I can usually appreciate time-loop films. The problem, however, is that the same pattern needs to be interesting, otherwise it quickly becomes a boring and repetitive story. Naked has its fun moments, but ultimately runs into this problem. Wayans does a decent job and the other actors do their best too, but they cannot disguise the fact that the situations Wayans finds himself in are not interesting enough to fill an entire film. The lesson Rob is supposed to learn (be kind to your fellow man, grow up) has been done a hundred thousand times before, and better.

Yet another film in the "I relive every day" subgenre. When watching Marlon Wayans, we are at least guaranteed that it won't be much good. And indeed, it isn't. The lame jokes come flying at you left and right. I must say, though, that I have seen Marlon act even worse than this. So, it could always be worse.
There are some nice bits in the film at times. Personally, I don't dislike Marlon Wayans either. He is simply an actor who specializes in corny jokes. There is a market for that, too. Sometimes I feel the need for this kind of entertainment. However, it wears off very quickly. Consequently, 96 minutes turns out to be a bit on the long side.
Comparisons to the film Groundhog Day immediately come to mind. I cannot help but draw that comparison. Especially with films that are worse than the film with the "original idea." Naked does not offer nearly enough to come close to the aforementioned film. That is simply what you get with a film starring Wayans. And looking at the director's biography doesn't exactly cheer you up either.

On the eve of his wedding to Megan [Regina Hall], Rob [Marlon Wayans] is persuaded to grab “just one drink.” The next morning, he wakes up naked and in an elevator. A rip-off of The Hangover and Groundhog Day, it offers no explanation for the events and serves primarily as an excuse for Wayans to pull silly faces and do other silly things. Occasionally funny, but it makes no sense. Brian McKnight has an amusing cameo.
