"The incredible true story of America's top underdog"
Stubby is a lonely, unwanted stray dog who finds a best friend in Private Robert Conroy. Together they find themselves in one of the greatest conflicts in history and Stubby turns out to be a real hero. During the First World War he assisted the infantry in the trenches on the western front. Numerous exploits were attributed to the dog: he kept the troops morale high, warned them against attacks and searched for wounded on the battlefield. Stubby was the first dog to receive the rank of sergeant.
