Folk Hero & Funny Guy plot
Copywriter and aspiring comedian Paul was recently dumped by his fiancée. He gets time off from his club manager so he can work on his performances. His childhood friend Jason Black, an acclaimed folk-rock musician, is about to embark on his East Coast tour and proposes to Paul to open his concerts. They set off together, but when Jason reveals his ulterior motive, their friendship is put under strain.
